FTD provides a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all floral items that are transmitted through the FTD service, provided we are contacted by you within 5 days of delivery of the product.

Non-perishable gifts that are not part of a perishable arrangement, or planted container, will be replaced or refunded within 10 days, provided they are returned in their original packaging and condition, along with the receipt.

Sales Tax

Every order you place with West Van Florist for delivery in B.C. will be charged a Goods and Services tax of 5%, and a 7% Provincial Sales Tax. Delivery to most other Provinces in Canada will be taxed a 5% Goods and Services tax only. World Wide and USA delivery orders will be taxed a 5% Goods and Services tax on the service charge portion only.

Order Changes

If you require changes to an order, such as an address or card message change, please call our Customer Service Department at 604 922 4171 or 1 800 667 1055. Please be advised that we are unable to cancel, or make changes to an order that has already been delivered, or is in the process of being delivered.

Regular Delivery Areas

Delivery areas include; West Vancouver, North Vancouver, and Vancouver, 7 days a week. Lions Bay, and Burnaby delivery is Monday to Saturday, and Bowen Island delivery is Monday to Friday. Deliveries to Richmond, New Westminster, Annacis Island, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Delta, Surrey, White Rock, and Tsawwassen may be delivered through our FTD Selected Florist. Canada, USA and World Wide Deliveries are sent through our FTD Selected Forists. Statutory Holidays may affect delivery schedules. 

Delivery Charges

West Van Florist Local delivery charges are calculated by postal code zones. Online charges are based on our regular delivery times and schedules. Various delivery methods are available, such as Rush, Same Day, Next Day, Monthly, etc. as well as FTD and Teleflora deliveries. Charges for these services may vary and can be confirmed by calling 604 922 4171 or 1 800 667 1055. Delivery charges for a particular level of service are the same whether you are placing your order online, in our store, or by phone. 

Substitution Policy 

Occasionally substitutions may be necessary due to seasonal conditions, fresh product availability, and container changes. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme, and colour scheme of the order, always using fresh product, and quality containers of equal, or higher value. When ordering fresh product of one variety, such as roses or orchids, we will do our very best to match the variety and colour chosen, but will substitute if the product is unavailable. 


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
